There is a Legend in part of the Williams clan of the ELOPEMENT of the daughter of a Gentleman of Title and Substance with her Father's Groom, stable lad even, which had to be sometime before 1800. Two of us, who "met" in these channels and could be sixth or seventh cousins, are eager to take the easy road to discovering more of our origins if there is someone with whom we could cooperate in our quest. We have families from Kent and Middlesex. All clues will be carefully studied,i.e. preferred first names et c. |
