William WILLIAMS b c.1850 m.Mary DAVIES b.1857 on 21.05.1881 in the district of Pontpool. Children were: Janet Ann b.1882 - d.1967 Thomas b.1886 William b.1888 Francis b.1890 - d. 1912 Annie Maud b. 1891 - d.1892 Mary Jane (Millie) b.1892 m. Ernest WATKINS d. 1969 Harold b.1895 (went to America c.1910) Elsie May b.1898 - d.1912 All born around Pontnewynyd/Trevethin. in the district of Pontypool. MON Janet Ann WILLIAMS m. William Henry HANCOCK and ran The Victoria Cafe in Glebe Street, Merthry Tydfil for 12 years or more. William HANCOCK's family mostly settled in Webster Street, Treharris.
