Trying to find info on my step-grandmother Margaret Wilson. She married my grandfather Alfred George Edmondson in Westmorland in March 1923. Her age was given as 36 and her father was Thomas Wilson (deceased at time of marriage) his occupation given as huntsman.

Who are the witnesses on the marriage cert?

Witnesses were W CURRAH (probably Walter) and Jane Eleanor MILBURN. The Currah family lived in Dufton, as did my grandfather at the time, and Walter was about the same age as him.

Jane E Milburn was living in Knock at the time of the 1911 census, and aged 6.

Margaret (WILSON) was a housekeeper at the time of the marriage, so Jane was possibly working at the same place as a domestic.
