my dads family moved to leeds from paisley scotland not sure of when but over 30 or more years ago.my dads david born 1931 there was a george who died young ,billy thomas and girls elizabeth nancy cant think of the other names but there was about 8 brothers and sisters in all .there mum and dad george wilson mum elizabeth murphy

George Wilson married Elizabeth Murphy approx 1930s. May be earlier depending on the order in which the children were born.

Children: David Wilson born 1931, George (who died young), Billy, Thomas, Elizabeth, Nancy and two others.

They lived in Paisley Scotland and then moved to Leeds England about 30 years ago ie in about 1979.

Can I surmize that George and Elizabeth would have been in their 70s when they moved to Leeds. Do you have dates of birth for them.

The children would have been born in Paisley Scotland if they only moved to Leeds 30 years ago.

Exactly what is it that you need to know about the family.

David Wilson and siblings moved to Leeds.

Parents of David b. 1931, George (who died young), Billy, Elizabeth, Nancy and two others were George Wilson and Elizabeth Murphy.

George was the oldest.

George Wilson married a second time to Reane (Unknown), Thomas was their child.

Start with what you have. You know your father's name, his date of birth, who he married (your mother), her maiden name and date of birth and who her parents were. This may be the living info so we need to proceed with caution.

Do you just wish to identify the dates and places of birth for all the children, if they married, to whom and where. Do you have any of that information? Is there one piece of info you need or is this the start of a family history search?
