my name is julie fox formerly wilson , my fathers name was donald . his father was thomas william wilson from deaf hill , co. durham . my grandad , had a brother robert , and their father lived in wheatley hill , co. durham . i believe he had been a chef in the army ? unsure . i would love any info about my family as i know only that they may have worked at deaf hill pit , of this im unsure also , could anyone help - my grand father , thomas william married margaret / or peggy flint , from trimdon station . co. durham . she too came from a mining background , and as a young girl ,i believe she grew up in station town , co . durham ? unsure . thankyou. |
