Trying to find more about Alfred Christopher Wood, b circa 1875 married Julia Symonds in 1896. Living in Ipswich, Suffolk 1901 with 2 daughters. My father, their son Arthur Cyril was born in 1905. Alfred Christopher is shown as dec'd on my father's marriage cert.in 1942. Alfred Christopher was a blacksmith's striker. Any info. welcome

Marriage cert. for Alfred and Julia states that Alfred was 31 and a widower in Aug.1896 and that his father was Charles Woods.(def. an 's' on the name then but in 1905 my father was regd. at birth as Wood. Any info. gratefully rec'd.
