Hi, I am trying to find both names. My family from what I can gather started off as WOODS......James WOODS born about 1807 and married Hannah RYECROFT, born about 1818, they had the following son Charles WOODS born about 1845 and died 1869. Not found anymore siblings yet. Then I know Charles married Sarah Anne DRAPER who was born about 1846 and had the following two boys James WOODS born about 1866 and Edward WOODS born about 1868. Now here is where the "S" got dropped (I think), James married Violet PRICE, who was born about 1875, they married in 1891 and had the following children.....John WOOD, not DOB yet, Sarah WOOD born about 1893 and possibly died in 1913, Annie WOOD, born 1897 and died 1975, Violet WOOD born about 1899, James WOOD born about 1900, Elizabeth WOOD (my grandmother), born about 1906 and died in 1963. All members of this family were born in Liverpool. If any of these names are connected to you, please get in touch. Lynn

Hi - this is a long shot. I am looking for a James Wood born 1865 ish who I believe married a Mary Davies - they had several sons.....but I am struggling to find records for James on the census - I have come across Elizabeth Draper where a Srah Farmer is listed also as the daughter - but with a young son - ~Edward Wood - I thinbk her other son is living with relatives (Harrison ) in Eldon street Liverpool in 1881 - and I believe he is the James in my missing link - All my Wood family are liverpool so probably worth our sharing details?
