I'm trying to find my great grandfather John Frederick Wood born around 1896. He married Edith Holt Nov 8th 1919 in Stockport, he was listed as a Manufacturers clerk (later a branch manager of a clothing company) and his father was listed as Frederick Wood a commercial traveller. |

Not sure how you could be certain but this looks the most likely from the 1901 census:- |

This is what I originally came up with, however my Aunt Linda (Sybil's daughter) says she doesnt recall anybody mentioning living in this area, nor that she ever visited any family in this area. |

You could try to find this family in the 1911 census to see where they were living - it's pay per view I'm afraid and quite expensive. |

Looking at the 1901 census again, i've found a John F Wood living in Stockport at the same street (Adswood Lane West) he was living at when he got married in 1919, only it was no 107 in 1919 not no 20 as in the 1901. |
