I'm trying to find any information on Lily Wood who lived in the Newham area of london. She was married to a Joseph John Wood (born 1896, died 1973). He is my great Grandfather, and I would like to know if he and lily had any children together.

What was her maiden name?

Presumably, she was not his only wife?

If it is, just go to freebmd and look for births using both surnames.............

Not sure of her surname. he walked out on my great grandmother Martha, who lived in Bo'ness, Scotland, and went back to Newham which is where he was born. All I know is that he lived with a woman called Lily who became his wife. I am despertate to know if he had any children with her.

You need to get some dates sorted out ................
When did he marry Martha? (If he did)

As for children, if you think the marriage I posted is correct, just follow my advice about searching

If you give some dates - and your grandmother's birth details, perhaps we'll be able to help

As things are, you are simply not giving enough info...................

You haven't said what happened to Martha - did she die before her husband 're-married'?
