I am trying to find details of my mothers father George Arthur Wood,(could be the othe way around) who lived in Ashby,Scunthorpe, and died in 1968.He was also in the Royal Navy serving from HMS Dolphin with the submarines.I am stumped!!!!!! |

Are you thinking he was born in Scunthorpe? It wasn't a registration district till 1938 it seems, but was covered by Gainsborough and Glanford Brigg. There is this birth but you need to ascertain a bit more about him: |
