hello and thanks in advance,

i am trying to find out how jane wood (nee morrison) born 1869(ish) died in 1910 (I HAVE FOUND A DEATH RECORD FOR HER, JUST WONDERED IF ANY1 COULD LET ME KNOW HOW SHE DIED) and what happened to her son alfred wood aged 17(ish), i have found mum and son together on the 1901 census living with her husband oliver and daughter olive but on 1911 census there is no sign of alfred,

can any1 help please

You would need to purchase the death certificate.

Unless you can find someone in the family who knows ...

Tried looking for death records 1910- 1911 for Alfred? couldnt look for you ..no area on posting and its a fairly common name. If you suspect Jane died in strange circumstances maybe it would be reported in her local area paper? but as Mrs Grumpy says you would be better off getting a copy of her death cert..£7 from the GRO.

jane was my g.g.grandads first wife so she isn't a direct link to my family tree, carn't afford to buy certificates that are not neccessary
