I am searching for my father; hopefully he is still alive. It is 40years, or thereabouts since he left CARLISLE, CUMBRIA. MY FATHER'S NAME IS JOHN ARTHUR WOOD. He is approx 6' tall and was already balding as I remember him. The last place I believe he was working was in the DONCASTER area; he worked as an electrician, in the steel works. His work history was in the fire brigade and then as an electrician in Carlisle. My father was born 1922. He had one sister called Mary; his parents were Sarah and George WOOD. There are 9 children in his family; perhaps there are brothers and sisters I do not know about. If anyone has any information about JOHN WOOD please share that info with me. |
