GEORGE WOOD died 1917/1918 during first world war before the birth of his daughter Evelyn. Was married to Martha Marshall Wood nee Perkins later Brough. Martha was known as minnie. They lived in codnor (derbyshire0 and George worked as a coal miner, previously ?blacksmith elsewhere in the country. My mother thinks George was from Norfolk but I can find no record of him in that area in the 1881/1891 or 1901 census. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
