Trying to find Wood

hi there, I am now trying to trace an isaac hill, who was the father of a james hill, james hill married a patience wood on the 14 july 1896 and they had 2 children that i know of, thomas and josephine! i have nto been able to find james hill on the census of 1901 because i think maybe he stayed in america where both him and patience had there daughter josephine. Thomas must have been born when patience obviously came back because she was on the census living with father and her 2 children when they were very young! typical aye, you try and trace the male name back and it's always the bloke that goes missing!! not the first time in my tree!!!!! if anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated, you can look at my tree! regards, joe elwick |
