Hello, I'm trying to find anyone who may have known my father - William Edward Wood, his birthday was I think May 31st - he was a lot older than my late mother, she was born in 1921 so he could have been born 1900 to 1915? He came from London - Tottenham is a possibility- he already had a daughter Ann, born about 1935- 1945. He was in the RAF I think and could have been stationed during the war at Fradley Airfield, Staffs which is the next village to where my Mother was living. He was not in contact with me or my mother after about 1955 but still I would like to know what happened to him and to my half-sister, Ann. My mother's maiden name was Kathleen Shone. regards Sue Holt, Lichfield, Staffs.. |
