I AM TRYING TO FIND ANY OF MY ANCESTORS FROM THE LIVERPOOL AREA, ESPECIALLY WEST DERBY AND FAZAKERLY. MY FATHERS NAME IS THOMAS WOOD, BORN IN 1946 IN FAZAKERLY HOSPITAL. HE LIVED IN WEST DERBY, AND WAS THEN LIVING IN THE COTTAGE HOMES IN LIVERPOOL. HIS FATHER WAS CALLED THOMAS FREDERICK WOOD, WHO WAS EARLIER A CARPENTER BY TRADE. NOT SURE WHEN HE ACTUALLY DIED BUT IT WAS AROUND 1970'S. MY GRANDMOTHER WAS ALSO FROM LIVERPOOL, BUT NOT SURE WHAT YEAR. SHE DIED WHEN SHE WAS AROUND 26 YEARS OF AGE FROM TB, SHE USED TO WORK IN JACOBS FACTORY. HER NAME, I THINK, WAS OLIVIA WOOD, AND SHE DIED AROUND THE 1950'S. IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFORMATION WHATSOEVER ON ANY OF THESE NAMES AND ANY HISTORY, OR EVEN IF YOU THINK YOU COULD BE RELATED, PLEASE GET IN TOUCH. |
