Trying to find Wood

I am trying to trace my grandfathers family tree. My grandfather was alfred thomas wood born 1879 in aston birmingham to james wood & eliza cluff. james was born in stoneleigh in warwickshire and most of his forbearers seem to come from around that area. I have found the gravestone of james's father and mother john wood & lydia trippas and two of james's sisters suzannah and sarah wood. I wondered if there are any woods still in the stoneleigh area who could help me expand on the information I have to date. I know one of my grandfathers sisters went to america but do not know her name. Any information gratefully recieved. |
