Fenella Report 28 Aug 2004 22:41

Looking for any information about the Wood family of James and Martha living in Greenwich, SE London from approx 1870. The census states that James, his wife and eldest daughter Annie came from Burcott, Winge near Leighton Buzzard, whilst the two younger children, Ellen and Henry were born in Southwark. James and later Henry both worked on the railway. Henry married Ada Deeming from Greenwich in 1892 and had the follwoing children: James Thomas Ada Dorothy Ethel and may have moved to the East End by the 1920`s, still working in transport, but now as an Omnibus Inspector. Any connections welcomed.
