I am trying to trace ancestors beginning with My grand father and grand mother who lived in Epping c.1860. Grand dad was a blacksmith. They had, I believe, 13 children of which my father, Arthur, was the youngest. he was born in 1897 and fought in ww1 with the Essex Regiment,in Gallipoli, etc. and was in India. He had brothers Charles and Edward ('Bark') & Fred who are the only ones I recall. Fred had a daughter Lily, who married a Freshwater in Epping. Arthur married Ellen (Nellie) Cates(Eglington) in Norwich. Any help would be appreciated. |
