Does anyone have a HAROLD STEVEN WOOD born 9/10/1900 in Lambeth London. I now have his birth certificate.His sister is my mother in law.At the time of his mothers death he was in an Industrial School.Has he married or did he fight in the first world war? The mother Catherine(Kathleen on m.i.lws b cert)Scurr lived with Henry John Wood for 15 yrs in New Cross. She could not marry Henry as she was already married but to whom? Had sisters Catherine(Kathleen) and Jessica and brother Arthur. Mother died 1911 Father 1912.Jessica adopted? Kathleen & Arthur in Dr Barnardos in 1911.Father Henry was in the Builing trade as a labourer.1901 census say's he was a Slater for a builder.They also lived in New Cross.I have found that Henry died in the Workhouse in 1912 and there was another child Mary who died in 1909 as a baby. I want to know if Henry's family who came from Manchester are seeking relatives? PLEASE get in touch if you know anything Anyone have any information? |
