Still trying to find more information about William Wright born 1890 in Haggerstone, London. He then moved to Leigh-on-sea with his parents William Henry and Jane Wright with a brother Raymond Noel and sister Ivy. He joined the merchant navy I think - he ended up emigrating to Australia and ran a trading schooner - then had a building engineering co. in Brisbane. Think he probably died in the 1940's or 50's - don't know if he married and had children any ideas from anhyone?! thanks!! |

I went to Kew today and was looking at merchant navy records. I found a William Wright, born London Christmas Day 1890. Is this your man? |

Suggest you put "Australia" in your heading, as it seems it is that part of his life you are interested in. |
