Find Ancestors

We are looking for Henry Francis Wright, sometimes called Francis Henry. He was b1857 but we don`t know where. He thought he was b Leicester but we had research done and they say no. In 1881 he married Ann Ferris b 1861Mitcham Surrey. They married in Deptford.

Thanks. We have found him on C1891 with wife and Emma 1884 Bermondsey. Florence 1885 Peckham. And Henry GT 1889 Bermondsey.
C1901 with wife Ann nee Ferris and Annie b 1897 Bethnal Green & Albert 1893 Bethnal Green. Albert was killed in 1915 in France & Flanders.
C1901 Emma & Florence visiting Aunt Mary A Hardy nee Ferris who was b in Rotherhithe.

What research have you had done that disproved he was born in Leicester?

We went to Leics.gov.uk. They said they couldn't find him with a father Albert as the marriage cert. indicates.
We don't know where to go from here.

He could have lied about his Father's name.
We have not found a census with Father and son on it - no censuses posted with Henry Francis on before his marriage (with or without a Father)
Was he illegitimate and inventing the father?

We do have that certificate but the father is Joseph and he is a Tailor. Henry was in the boot trade.
