Hi i am trying to find my half sister shirley annette wright who was born in keighley west yorks in 1961 and was adopted soon after
i have found her in the birth register but where do i go from here ? or do i just sit back and wait. are there any sites she may have registered with to find us im realy not sure what to do from here

You can put your name on the norcap register:

www.norcap.org.uk

I would also try Friends Reunited and Facebook - if she is wanting to be found she might look on here, and would use her birth name.

Hi Mary,

I was just wondering if you know the other person who has Shirley on GR.

If you type Shirley's name in the search box and then put in the year she was boen. There is another lady with Shirley's name on GR.
