I am trying to trace my husbands grandparents. Their names were Charles Edgar Wright and Violet Wright. They lived on Park View Road, Hillsborough, Sheffield. They had one son -Norman - my husbands father. We think that they also had property in Loxley and may have had relatives in Bradfield. Charles was a carpenter. Unfortunately, Norman died in 1988, and as he was an only child, there is no one to ask about the family, and my husband doesn't really remember much, although he thinks there may have been some relations who he called Aunty Amy, but he's not sure if she was his real aunty, and also he thinks Norman may have had a cousin who emigrated to Canada. He also thinks that Norman had an uncle in Bradfield who was a butcher. Can anyone help? |
