I would like to hear from anyone who has any information on my grandmothers family name CLARIDGE. She was born in Winchcombe, Cheltenham in Gloucestershire from a farming background and she was from a large family. I have been told by family that they once owned Claridges hotel in London and would be very interested in hear from anyone who new my grandmothers family. Her name was Ruth Claridge until she married and became Page she eventually move to London and lived in Hammersmith. She used to be a nanny in her young days and looked after a child named Dilys which is the name she gave my mother when she was born. Once again your help would be gratefully appreciated. |
