WRIGHT Looking for any descendents of family who lived on Vincent Parade, Balsall Heath in 1901. Thomas WRIGHT (an iron caster) and Ann (COX), a general dealer, between them had 12 children: Julia; Thomas, Annie, Lilly, Florence, Amelia, Alfred, Alice, Horace, Doris, Violet, Isabel. Julia WRIGHT married Caradog DAVIES, an engine driver, in 1895 in Corwen; children, Julia (born Corwen), Amelia (born Aston) and Thomas (born Worcester). In 1901 they were living 2Gillam St, Worcester. Thomas WRIGHT, a fruiterer/greengrocer, married Mary Elizabeth GRIFFITHS (born Dudley 1875) and on 1901 census lived at Brighton Terrace, River St, Balsall Heath with children Annie 3 and Julia 4 months. Annie (known as Ann) WRIGHT (my paternal grandmother) married Charles Frederick TEA in 1903 and when they split up about 3 years later, she moved to Liverpool and later Rhyl with her baby daughter Miriam. Ann was known to have been in Rhyl up to 1946. Miriam was there at least until 1933. What was Miriam's surname? Amelia WRIGHT married Harry ASHBURNER who was Head of Leics CID and retired in 1947. They had children Doreen (born 1923) who married George BAILEY and Douglas who later moved to Corby. Isabel and Violet WRIGHT, the two youngest daughters, ran a second hand clothing shop on Longmore St in Balsall Heath into the 1950s. Isabel died sometime in the mid 1950s I believe. I don't think either of them married. Any descendents of any of these 12 WRIGHT siblings out there? Or descendents of the families they married into? Please get in touch. Barbara
