Trying to find Wright

Hi, I am trying to find out about my gt gf Charles Wright. He was born in 1888 and married in Huddersfield in 1912 to Bessie Bray. She died in 1943 and he remarried very soon after to Mary Alice ?Wood. Then there was a family row and my grandmother never had anything to do with her father or step mother. Charles dies in 1979 and Mary in 1988. When Charles died, the death was registered by Mary McCarthey a neice, however Mary Wrights death seems to have been registered by an official, so did she not have any living rellies??? I can't find any details of the second marriage but I've been told that it happened in summer 1943, both parties were in middle age so maybe Wood was her maiden name, but she could have been a widoww when she married Charles. Does any one know? |
