Trying to find Wright

I am looking for my paternal grandfather - John Wright - born around 1899. He married Dorothy Ada Sawyer (born 1899). They had 5 children the youngest was my mum - Daphne Janet Wright born in 1933. They divorced in around 1938 and his (ex)wife died in around 1944 at which point my mum was placed in a children's home and had no further contact with her father. He died in the early 1970's My mum seems to think John Wright came from Ireland, but she is not sure why she thinks that - the last time she saw him was when she was 11. She thinks he married again. Does anybody have any information please. Thanks Jo |
