MOSES WRIGHT b.1863 appox died May 1942 trying to find my great grandfathers two families Moses i think was born in Stockport Lancs and moved to London where he married ???? and had two daughters Ellen & Elizabeth and two sons Richard & William (all born around Sheperds Bush and Chelsea area of London) his wife died when i don't know but in the 1901 census it shows he was a widower. They lived in Melina Rd Sheperds Bush London. Moses then went on to marry my great-grandmother and in the same census moved in with his new wife Robina nee Crawford and her mother Robina Gale (Crawford nee Rennie) to Balcombe Street Marylebone, but there is no record of the children.Did they get put with the 1st wife's family?? Moses 2nd family moved to Willesden London where he had my nan Constance 1910 and 5?? other sons all older than Constance. Frank,Paul,Robert,Jack Harry ??? Moses was a Master Bricklayer by trade.His father name was Richard Wright (Farm Labourer) but was dead before he married Robina (states on marriage cert) |
