Trying to find Wright

ProfilePosted byOptionsPost Date

Ian Report 17 Jan 2005 17:27

I am trying to trace descendants of WALTER WRIGHT and ELLEN PARSONS, who were married at Assington, Suffolk in September 1878. (Ellen was my great-aunt.) They had four children, Robert Edward, Walter Reginald, Olive Ellen and Dorothy Mary. Edward appears on the 1901 census, living with his uncle and aunt, Stephen and Selina Parsons in Kingston, Surrey. The other three children were in Assington. Dorothy is the only one who I can trace as being married, to Clement Andrew HOLLANDS at Assington in 1917. I would be delighted to hear from anyone who can identify with these names. Iain Parsons, Brampton, Cumbria.

Hello Iain,
I see you posted the info about Dorothy Mary Wright in 2005, so I'm a little late in replying!
Dorothy was my wife's Great Aunt. They both lived in the same town (Ashford, Middx) and my wife used to visit Dorothy regularly. We have a photo of Dorothy in her later years.
Do get in touch if you'd like more info.
All the very best,
Trefor

Trefor,
It is quite likely that Ian will not be reading these boards, and may no longer be a member of genes.
If you click on his name, then genes can try and contact him if he still has the same email address.
