hi there, im wondering if anyone could help me please, i have come to a complete halt and im in need of information, my gggrandfather was called Thomas Elgie Wright, we believe that he came from coventry, he was a pub owner!! he had at least one child called John William Wright. I dont know very much about him except that he was born in 1893 He went on to marry Rose Mary Glue,26/3/1920 in guildford surrey, and have 2 children. he died aged 50 of cancer. Children: John William Wright dob 21/2/1921 dd11/12/1984 Dorothy Evelyn Wright dob 24/6/1924 somewhere along the line there is a 'brother' called Tom Henry Elgie!!! dob 11/6/1922 in middlesboro, dod aug 1984 John willian (son) married Elizabeth Rose ware, dob dec 1928 dd 13/8/1960 and had the following children: janette, John, Anthony, Derek, Leonard,and andrew. if anybody knows anything about my great grandfather, or the orphanage concerned, please could you get in contact no matter how small you think the information might be. regards jules |
