I am trying to trace the ancestry of Horace Wright and his wife Elizabeth, who lived in the Kensington area in the mid 1800s. Horace was born in Massingham, Norfolk,in 1824, and was a carpenter by trade. I don't know the maiden name of his wife Elizabeth. The couple had three children as far as I know - Frederick, my great-grandfather (also a carpenter), born 1859, Kate, born 1863, and Eleanor, born 1867. Frederick married Janet Wilkie Ramsay in 1882 and had five daughters, including my grandmother, Emily Mary Wright. Any information gratefully received. Sue Edwins |
