If you think there are likely to be relatives in the Portsmouth area now, you could try contacting the local paper with a brief outline of names and dates and any known addresses.
The daily paper ..The News... often runs a page called 'Where are they now? '

there are lots of Youngs in Hampshire area = is it definitely Portsmouth?

Hello Ann (G'day from Oz).
The Young family I have in my tree are noted as being born in Portsmouth.....

Some of the data is from old Census records and I have found that places of birth on Cesus don't always match the actual birth certificates, so you could be on to something (again).

PM'd Paul yesterday also - this one is a few months old.

Sorry Ann ...juggling work and "play" at the same time. Work on one computer and "play" on the other.
Beautiful sunny day here today (thankfully). We've had some shocking weather in past few weeks. Summer is not on us yet - YET!!
