i am trying to find any info on daisy young i am told that she was born in sri lanka, her father was in the british army, his name was james edgar young he married mary mayers who i was told was from sri lanka again her father was in the army and her mother was sri lankan. Daisy young married a henry fly in sri lanka again he was in the army they had children but only 1 survived, the children who died are buried in sri lanka, the child who survived came to england in the early 1940s with her mother and father and settled on the isle of wight. I have info on the fly family but none on the other side at all so any thing would be good. |

Just wondering. Was James married previously as some of the children on the 1891 census were born well before his marriage to Mary Mayers |

Strange. I cannot find George F (B1879), James W (B 1878) Mary or James Edgar on 1881 census. Maybe they were off with the army then? |
