You need to look at the 1911 Census

What are Evelyn's parents called?

The 1911 Census can be searched for free, but to see any detailed information you will need either a subscription to it through findmypast, OR buy credits to look at the transcript and actual census page on the 1911 site itself.

I prefer the latter!!

Go to www.fmpbsol.1911census.co.uk/

You have to register, but it is free to do that

click on Full person search

scroll down to Advanced Fields

Enter forename and surname, birth year +/- 3

Born try either Bristol OR Gloucestershire

Click on Search

Using Bristol .... there are two Evelyn Youngs, both of whom have a second or third forename

Using Gloucestershire, there is only one, Evelyn May Young

Make a note of the information showing (or copy and paste it onto your computer)

Click on Search Again

Remove forename and leave blank

Leave surname as is

Remove birth year, and change +/- 3 to Exact

Remove birth place

Click on Location County, click on Gloucestershire

Choose place name from list

Enter the forename(s) exactly as just found in Other Members of the Household

Click on Search

You may recognise other names.

If you want to then see details of the household (address, occupation, where born, etc), you may buy credits (£6.95 for 60 credits, and you need 10 to see the transcript and 30 to see the actual image)

OR you could ask on here and someone who has a membership will look for you.

I buy credits as I need them, so can only help by doing the free search for you.
