Hi I am trying to trace relatives of my Great Grandmother Catherine Julia Young, She was born 26 Oct 1902 and died 25 Sept 1978 in Plymouth Devon. I have no idea where she was born and am having difficulty in locating her birth certificate. She was married twice, firstly in 1924 to James RODDY. They had 5 daughters, Kathleen (my nan), Sheila, Maureen, Theresa and Una who died in 1938 aged 8-9years. James died in 1933 and Catherine remarried in 1934 to Michael KILGARIFF. On her first marriage certificate Catherine lived at 6 Fielding Street Patricroft and her father is listed as William Alfred Young, witnesses were M Kilgariff and Dan O'Brien. On her second marriage certificate her father is deceased and the witnesses were John Donohue and Hilda Husselbury. Do any of these names ring a bell with anyone. If they do please contact me.
