He enlisted in the 2nd Rifle Brigade (origionally the 95th foot (rifle) until the name change in 1816) No. 3160 Elgin Co. Moray, 5th November 1831, 17. Married Elizabeth Davidson (born on 26th May 1820 in Elgin, Moray) on 16 July 1852 in Elgin. Elizabeth was.
