The media is always looking for interesting case studies to feature as picture-led stories in newspapers, magazines and/or online. If you have one of the following stories you’d like to share and you are happy to appear in the press please email [email protected]

• Do you have a tale of family inheritance being found? Or a family heirloom such as jewellery or an antique object passed down through generations?
• Have you discovered a murderer in your family tree or perhaps links to a famous crime author or actor?
• Have you found long-lost relatives? Have they always lived in the same area as you, did they live streets away unbeknownst to you?
• Do you have a controversial tale of adultery which has led to interesting discoveries about your family history?
• Did you discover romantic relatives who could have given cupid a run for his money? Or perhaps stories of ancestors who crossed oceans to be with their loved ones or wrote hundreds of love letters?
• Are you related to a butcher, a baker or candlestick maker? We’d love to hear stories relatives with unusual professions or unusual stories

As a thank you, Genes Reunited will offer a £50 gift voucher for Marks and Spencer or Amazon to those whose stories and photographs are used by the media.
