Anyone with Lancashire relatives - Lancashire on Line Parish Clerk Site is wonderful and free (constantly being updated so worth keep checking)

Wigan World site have burial records for Wigan, Hindley and Lower Ince Cemeteries too :-)

Just Google..... Lost Hospitals of London.

It comes up with a huge list and information about hospitals and institutions that no longer exist. M

Has anyone noticed that Cambridge FHS haa completed transcribing the historic parishes of Cambridgeshire?
There is a search engine at
http://www.cfhs.org.uk/
that can be used to identify in which parishes a Surname or person may have lived which can be useful in determining where to search for those elusive records, and just as importantly to eliminate others.
It wont tell you whether it relates to Baptism Marriage or Burial though and it is primarily designed to get you to buy their CDs (Which I think are a little overpriced). but you may well find that the event is transcribed elswhere on one of the other sites or on the NBI.
