No, you won't be able to get rid of the blanks if the children are attached to him or her. |

The issue here is that the GR tree automatically enters a 'blank' partner / spouse when you add a parent. What you then need to do is to edit this entry with the appropriate details. |

If I understand you correctly you have a father with two wives and one or more children.Click on a child and "Change Parents" will appear. |

Delete the one you have not given any children,if you have gone a long way with one it takes ages,as you have to delete from the bottom. |

Hi can anyone advise me how to delete a duplicate person on the family tree. I have clicked on "mother" on my family tree and entered the info - I then end up with 2 entries on the tree for the same person! I can't delete one of them because the system wont let me. Hope someone understands what I mean. Is there any way I can "tidy up" my tree. Thanks |
