grannyfranny Report 16 Apr 2013 23:34

Just found this online burial record for Manchester cemeteries. Just look out for misspellings.

Let me know if it's already on the list!

BrianW Report 9 Feb 2017 23:12

When you search the GRO to place an order you now get the mother's maiden name between 1837 and 1915.
Very useful if you have a census entry but can't locate the marriage or if there is more than one possible spouse for the groom.

Dear All

I found this whilst researching:

This website contains a list of policemen who were received a humane society award, with a brief description of the incident and those involved.

The dates involved range from the 1840's onwards until 1890's.

Best wishes
Elizabeth, EOS
