Is it possible to search a census by Street rather than by name of individual ?

Yes it can be done. Also depends on date

Easier on FMP than Ancestry

Unless you have info that is very close in date to when the census was taken you might not finding who you are looking for

If you are researching a property then have you done any research local to see if renamed or renumbered

Do you mean England or Wales or possibly Scotland.

Scottish census on Ancestry can be searched by address quite easily
