one says there seems to be a district missing for Lathom.

Lawrence's marriage was actually announced in the Preston Chronicle

and

in the Liverpool Mercury of 14 Aug 1849 he was in the Lancaster insolvent court

"Lawrence Monk hawker and earthenware dealer formerly of Lathon near Ormskirk"

david Report 16 Mar 2013 18:18

lawrence and family are missing from the 1841 and 1851 census but elizabeth and son william are lodging in lathom in 1841 with a family named boyes

i assume the family are on the road somewhere and have been missed by the enumerator

as the Monk family in Preston between 1882 & 1889 seem to flit between Jennett Street and (Back) Saul Street I wonder if ii is worth someone with an FMP sub doing an address search in 1891

But Denis was with wife and children in 1861 in Liverpool - as previously posted, even though the name seems to change between Bolger and Bulger.

The one you've found was given 6 months for indecent assault:

Dennis Bulger
Date of Trial: 15 Oct 1860
Trial Year: 1860
Location of Trial: Durham, England
Sentence: Imprisonment
Crime: See Image
Date of Execution or Release: See Image

Don't think he is your Dennis.
