Birth records on GR up to 2008

Even on here they are no where near complete...just tested the name Smith

2006>>>> 12,000 +
2007>>>> 800 +
2008 >>>> 6

I have come accross 2007 deaths on FMP but dont feel the need to look up recent births

Where do you find births, marriages and deaths for 2008 on Findmypast please?

2008 births,marriages and deaths are on FMP.com

Births & Baptisms (1,168)
Deaths & Burials (1,762)
Marriages (1,195)

I thought the government had decided not to release any more birth, marriage and death indexes to go online after 2006 which are on Findmypast.

I wonder why BrightSolid have decided to put these on Genes and NOT on Findmypast?

Just noticed that the birth records on GR now go up to 2008.
Thought it was a misprint until I found my grandaughters birth ref index.

It is individual name indexing that Platinum members have access to.

I have just checked it does not apply to the quarterly birth records other members have access to
