Can I suggest something - alter your heading to include 'Irish' or 'Ireland' - you need to attract attention of our Irish experts, and none have picked this up so far!

I might be inclined to change it to something like 'Irish help needed, new request' so it's obvious you still need help.

brummiejan looks like some sort of system they have to record the birth/christening wish i knew , may give more info.
Sylvia have no idea about the workhouse theory.

In England, the address was sometimes given for the Workhouse Infirmary instead of "Workhouse Infirmary"

Could this be the case here???

There are lots of births for 792 Portadown Armagh it seems - must be a kind of code for an area? Lots of other areas have a number at the start also - check this out:

On the above site i came across a birth also the christening in Ireland, my query is on the christening given as 792 Portadown Armagh, what does this mean.
