Thank you for all your replies but like I said in my original message the accommodation house he built is not the one that now stands at Ti Papa and yes I know that 80 Greta Road is just a small house but where it is is approximately where the accommodation house was built.
Hi Persie long time no hear. I will email you later today. Don't have time right now as need to get ready for work.

The Woolshed is quite well known and was built C 1895

This is probably a better photo of the place

Oh and 80 Greta Road is just a small house that would have been built quite some time ago...

My husbands great grandfather built an accommodation house at
Tipapa in Canterbury about 1893. (This is not the homestead that now stands at Tipapa). I have found in Papers Past a notice of Application for an Accommodation Licence for the building and I have a copy of the Certificate of Title for the land it was built on. From this information I believe it was built on what is now approximately number 80 Greta Road. Does anyone know anything about this accommodation house?
