Help re ordering a birth cert.

I have Jan but no matches. I will look at other options tomorrow. :-)

Can I just check - I assume you have found a birth and are trying to get the cert to check if the same mother?
Have you checked other members' trees to see if there happens to be a match? Using all family names you have obviously.

Thank you Jan, but the birth was 1969 ish, and illegitimate so probably not in the papers, sadly.

I don't think you can get a cert less than 50 years old without this information.
Have you tried looking for birth announcements in the local paper? If you can find one it might offer some clues.

My friend is hoping to find a half sister, but does not have a lot of info and GRO want exact DOB, parents names etc, so is it possible to still get this cert without all that info.
If anyone could help it will be brilliant. Thank you.
