Jay's of Regent Street

Can anyone aid me in finding out information of a shop on Regent Street in the early 1900's called Jay's of Regent Street.
All i know is they were tailors and had the Royal Warrant.
I have tried googling but not a great deal comes up.

Did they also do mourning clothes as that shows up a lot? or was that a different store?

They will have tailored mourning dress I'd have thought

I'd doubt there were two different shops called Jay's

As mourning conventions changed, so did the shop, and by the end of the nineteenth century it was also selling ordinary clothing in sombre colours appropriate to work as well as sad occasions.

Thank you so much everyone. My g grandfather was a Jeweller's Assistant at Jay's before he joined the Army in 1901 aged 18.
