Hi,

I am looking for the birth of Rosalie Wernert born 1805 Strasburgh, France and I wondered if anyone knew where I can look at French birth records?

Hi.

Not sure if this helps, but the following is from the LDS Familysearch site:

https://familysearch.org/learn/wiki/en/France_Births_and_Baptisms_%28FamilySearch_Historical_Records%29

You can see that they have records from the Bas-Rhin region, which I think? covers Alsace. The LDS Church runs Family History Centres where you can get to view what records they possess on Microfiche. I haven't used these centres myself, but I understand they are very helpful.
