You might be able to pin down the location from
https://www.deceasedonline.com/servlet/GSDOSearch

Records include

Scans of the original registers (until the 1990's when replaced by computerised records, dates vary by site)
Computerised register records (from the 1990's, dates vary by site)
>>Grave details indicating all those buried within each grave
>>Maps indicating the section of a cemetery where graves are located
Maps indicating scattering locations of ashes in the crematorium

Added - if there are a number of unrelated people buried in the same plot, its probably a 'public grave' and unlikely to have a head stone

If you can visit, at least you've a better idea where to look. If you can't, once you've identified a location, may be the Cemetery Dept can check for you.

The sections within the cemetery are quite large, if you end up having to go for a wander around, you could be looking within the section all day! As far as I can tell, Deceased online only gives a section map.

If you ring the number that Detective gave you at 21.34 and ask nicely you might be lucky like I was as several of mine are at Church Cemetery - I was emailed detailed section maps with the grave numbers marked, so you can home in on the right one and then hope your map reading skills translate to the cemetery.

Keep your fingers crossed there is a headstone standing tall rather than fallen flat - face down of course - like the one of mine that I really wanted to see. I still have to investigate if I can get it lifted to prove I can map read.

Grave hunting was my task last time I was up home - it was BH weekend and the records office was shut. But I found graves at Church Cemetery, Wilford Hill and Redhill.
